Virtual Jungle is a creation of New York-based composer/multi-instrumentalist Lucio Rebello. He was born in Blumenau - Santa Catarina - Brazil. Perhaps this could partially explain the eclecticism found in his music, if one considers the incredible cultural and musical diversity of his country. |

Lucio graduated in 2002 from Berklee College of
Music (Boston-MA) with a Bachelor's Degree in Film Scoring.
Virtual Jungle's debut recording features
Lucio's impressive vocal range and great instrumental skills on the guitar,
as well as on various other instruments. It also features top Brazilian
drummer Mauricio Zottarelli (Marc Rossi's Jazz Quintet,
Sal Di Fusco's Band) and guitarist Gustavo Assis Brasil (Guitar
Player's Magazine Spotlight, The Dig Trio), a rising star in Jazz/Fusion
circles, as a special guest.
Virtual Jungle's music is an eclectic blend of Rock,
Electronica, Jazz and Funk, with Lucio's own Classical
and Brazilian influences also brought up to the mix.
